At the South West Craft Beer Festival two styles of food are available;
- Solid bites from the best local food trucks to keep your lunchtime hunger at bay
- Small gourmet bites from our brewers, perfectly matches to their brews
Margaret River Burger Company
We have regional favourite the Margaret River Burger Company on-site for those with a large hunger, as beer and burgers are a classic combo. Along with burgers they have crunchy hot chips to cure even the greatest hunger, plus gluten frees and salad dodgers are also catered for!
All too often after tasting a few brews the desire for a kebab arises…. Never fear, Busselton favourite Mr Kebab has your cravings covered! Pop by and see the charasmatic Jack Daniels (his actual name!) for a chicken, lamb, falafel, mixed or vegie kebab.
Go Nuts 4 Donuts
Did you do the rightey and agree to be the skipper for your pals? Then make sure they shout you a yummy donut and coffee from the Go Nuts 4 Donuts van!
Who doesn’t love matching up a fine brew with mouth watering cuisine…. Lets face it, beer goes pretty well with cheese, pulled pork, oysters…just about with anything really!
Our attending brewers partner up with local producers from the South West region to deliver small bites of food that perfectly match their brews. We will be tight lipped on the exact details until we release the menus through our Facebook during January, but as a guide the following food matches were on offer at the 2015 festival;
Settlers Tavern, the heart of Margaret River, attended the 2015 South West Craft Beer Festival with their authentic American Yoder Offset Competition BBQ and smoked up pulled pork and beef brisket sliders!
In 2015 Colonial Brewery delivered a match made in heaven; freshly shucked oysters with cans of their Kolsch.
Aquaviva Catering & Bush Shack Brewery
Aquaviva Catering teamed up with Bush Shack Brewery at the 2015 South West Craft Beer Festival to deliver an entire menu themed around Bush Shack’s numerous brews.
Highlights included Bush Shack Nachos, a Dirty Dan Stout Dog and Chilli Beer Battered Fish and Chips.
Rabbits Cafe’s 2015 menu was healthy and affordable, with a range of cold salads including braised beef with asian slaw and chilli sambal, and a mix of chorizo, roast pumpkin, red onion and fetta.
